Twofold Aboriginal Corporation are pleased to present Giiyong Festival at Jigamy, just north of Eden NSW on 22 November 2025.
Giiyong Festival provides a rare opportunity in south east NSW for the entire community to come together in celebration of Aboriginal arts, culture and resilience.
Giiyong means ‘come to welcome’ in the south coast language as spoken by local Elders. Everyone is welcome at Giiyong Festival, which brings you the best Aboriginal performers, presenters and speakers in one big day - the biggest celebration of Aboriginal culture in Southern NSW.
LIVE MUSIC, THINKERS & SPEAKERS, DANCE, DEMONSTRATIONS, WORKSHOPS, TRADITIONAL CULTURAL PRACTICES, ART, CRAFT, FOOD AND MORE.
Giiyong Festival is presented with support from Eden Local Aboriginal Land Council and South East Arts.

The original and the best - Coloured Stone was formed in 1977 by Bunna Lawrie, lead singer and songwriter, combining rock, ska, reggae with a unique First Nations sound.
From the Opera House to the Australian Consulate in Chennai, Corporate to the local community, Gunai Woman Kirli Saunders (OAM) has had experience speaking, facilitating, and teaching across a multitude of stages and settings. Kirli is an award winning writer, visual artist, and consultant.
DRB come from Kaltukatjara (Docker River) — a small desert community near the WA/NT border surrounded by gum trees, red dirt, cliffs, and spirit. Their 1st big gig outside of Kaltukatjara was in 2018 at Giiyong Festival and they are back for 2025!
A gifted and successful singer/songwriter, Jason Lee Scott is regarded as one of Australia’s leading Indigenous musicians, excelling as a songwriter, guitarist, drummer, bass and didgeridoo player.
Wallabindi is a Noongar, Yamatji and Burmese woman with a powerful and soulful voice, she’s a favourite on the Canberra arts scene and has supported big names like Casey Donovan, Busby Marou, Bumpy, Icehouse, Dan Sultan and Coloured Stone.
Funny, funny Gamilaraay man Dane Simpson is coming to us from Walgett via Wagga Wagga. He’ll be MCing the main stage and bringing pure joy to Giiyong Festival.
Zipporah Corser-Anu, a descendant of the Samu and Suy clans of Saibai in the Torres Strait, has been a performer since the age of 5. Seamlessly blending dance and vocals, she maintains a deep connection to her cultural roots.
Bow and Arrow is a Contemporary First Nations (Wiradjuri/Gamilaraay/Walgalu/Ngunawal) electro-soul trio. They fuse modern and Traditional instruments which create a unique sound and notable rare live experience. Expect monster vocals, big rhythms and electro beats, live sampling and looping and the traditional languages of the Wiradjuri and Gamilaraay peoples.
Gumbaynggirr and Barkindji singer/songwriter Manduway transports his audience with his multi lingual lyrics, warm voals and silky skills on the piano. Get ready for this divine voice!
Yes Chef! He’s back - because we love him. Chef Mark Olive, aka ‘The Black Olive’ is bringing his unique fusion of native foods and culture - and his wicked sense of humour - to Giiyong 2025.
Bunna Lawrie is a proud Mirning Elder from his homelands on Ngargangurie, the Nullarbor Plains, on the southern coast of South Australia. Bunna will appear on the Whale Dreaming discussion panel and perform with his band Coloured Stone.

Hip hop, country, regga and RnB will all feature at Giiyong Festival 2025, plus cultural producers and performers, dancers and artists, speakers and thinkers will round out a packed Festival program at Jigamy, near Eden on 22 November.
The next Giiyong Festival on 22 November 2025 will mark a major milestone in the history of the event, with Twofold Aboriginal Corporation just announced as the lead agency for the iconic multi-arts Aboriginal event on the Far South Coast of NSW.
Giiyong Festival 2024 on Saturday 9 November was bigger, better and brighter than ever. Huge crowds joined in celebration and recognition of the strength of Aboriginal culture through dance, music, art, food and ideas at Jigamy, Eden NSW. Thaua Country.
