DOCKER RIVER BAND

Docker River Band come from Kaltukatjara (Docker River) — a small desert community near the WA/NT border surrounded by gum trees, red dirt, cliffs, and spirit.

The five-piece band features:

• Roy Jugadai – Guitar & Vocals

• Albert Porter – Keys & Vocals

• Thaddeus Mitchell – Keys

• Peter Bennett – Bass

• Dion Bell – Drums

They sing in Pitjantjatjara and English, blending their own lived stories with reggae rhythms and desert soul. The songs are about family, land, longing, and pride — real music, from real places.

Over the years, DRB have quietly built a strong name in community, playing festivals and events across remote and regional Australia, including:
