11km South of Pambula.

WHO IS IT FOR? Giiyong Ganya is for everyone. We ask that you bring a positive attitude to Aboriginal Culture. Indigenous and non-indigenous people are all welcome. For our allies - this is a great opportunity to learn more about Culture and to deepen your own connection to Country. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and organisers have the right to remove anyone from the event who is causing trouble.
What should I bring? Please bring a picnic blanket or camp chair. Please bring a picnic/snacks
Some food available from 5.30pm:
Fah’s Thai Food - spring rolls etc.
Phoenix Food Truck - hot chips/hamburgers etc.
Keg and Kettle - Coffee, Chai, Tea, Gelato
During workshop hours
AJN Oysters will be open during the day and possibly into the evening depending on need.
Cafe in the Moneroo Bobberrer Gudu Keeping Place - To be advised
It is advisable to please bring your own lunch/snacks and a drink.
Are there market stalls? Black Duck Foods will be selling their native food products from 5.30pm. Giiyong team will also be selling Giiyong Festival merchandise. These will be the only items for sale.
Do I need to bring cash? YES PLEASE. Most vendors have EFTPOS available but the mobile service can by a bit dodgy during peak times. To avoid disappointment please bring cash.
Are there buses? No
Can I bring my dog? Please DO NOT bring your dog (you will be refused entry), nor leave it in the car in the car park. Registered assistance dogs are fine.
Can I camp? Unfortunately this year there is NO CAMPING other than for artists and vendors. Please see https://www.giiyong.com.au/stay for suggestions on places to stay.
Is there undercover seating? There is some undercover seating.
Is there plenty of parking? Yes, but be mindful of the environment and consider travelling with friends.
Is there accessible parking? Yes, we will try to get you as close as possible to the action. Please enquire with gate staff when you enter.
Are there accessible toilets? Accessible toilets are located near the Twofold administration building.
Can I bring alcohol or buy alcohol on-site? No, This is a drug and alcohol free event. Bags may be randomly searched upon entry. Staff has the right to remove you from the site if you breach this requirement.
Can I just turn up and set up a stall or busk? No

BE AWARE THAT YOU MAY BE PHOTOGRAPHED OR FILMED DURING THE EVENT, by entering the venue you are recognising that this may occur and giving Twofold Aboriginal Corporation the right to use that image in promotional activities. If you do not want your photo taken please advise the photographer.
BE RESPECTFUL OF THE LAND ON WHICH WE GATHER - put your rubbish in bins provided
NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS (bags will be randomly checked)
NO DOGS - This is a strict requirement. Certified assistance dogs are acceptable, paperwork must be produced.

UNPLEASANT BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, THE FESTIVAL TEAM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXCLUDE ANYONE FROM THE EVENT AT ANYTIME
