MIRIBI BUNBAL - THUNDER STICK

The Ulladulla High School Didg Crew comprises fellas from lots of different mobs, in a meshing of old and new. They look to honour the tradition of the didgeridoo while layering that with drum loops and synth pads as a way of connecting with, celebrating and ensuring the continuation of culture.

Their music has taken them from Southern Stars at the Entertainment Centre in Wollongong to Lake Mungo as feature artists at the Lake Mungo Youth Camp, to Studio 301 in Sydney and now to Giiyong Festival 2025 - performing at the Aunty Alice Moore stage (Keeping Place).

Miribi Bunbal, meaning Thunder Stick in Dhurga, has also been a featured artist on Triple J Unearthed.
