Ashweeni Mason and her daughters, Bella and Arianna Landini (all pictured below), are proud Yuin, Dharawal, Monero and Gunai Kurnai Aboriginal artists and cultural practitioners, dedicated to celebrating, preserving and sharing their rich cultural heritage through their family cultural business, Marrawanggan.
With over three decades of cultural experience, Ashweeni is a multidisciplinary artist, dancer and cultural educator. Her eldest daughter, Bella, has performed professionally from a young age, while her youngest daughter, Arianna, is embracing a growing role in cultural education, delivering programs at Little Yuin Preschool and facilitating Marrawanggan workshops.
Together, this mother-daughter trio proudly share their family's treasured Djinjama Barin (Shellwork) traditions, passed down through generations under the guidance of respected Yuin Elder Aunty Vivian Mason.
Through their workshops, they celebrate the artistry, ancestral knowledge and enduring cultural connections of Yuin Dharawal Saltwater Women.
