AMANDA REYNOLDS

Amanda Jane Reynolds is a Guringai and Yuin possum cloak-maker, artist, curator and storyteller passionate about the flourishing of southeastern cultures and communities. She established Stella Stories on south coast in late 2010 and juggles her time between ongoing learning; grassroots community workshops; and collaborations with museums, galleries and public spaces.

Amanda has had the privilege of working in culture and community for three decades and holds deep gratitude for all the Elders who have held spaces and guided communities over the generations. Stella Stories holds unwavering faith in the next generation of young people and the young-at-heart of all ages – coming together for culture, community, Country.

Amanda is super-excited to be returning to her 5th Giiyong Festival where she will be conducting a free wearable art workshop and also facilitating the Whale Dreaming panel discussion at the Aunty Alice Moore Stage (Speakers Tent).
